Nuclear Transformation Suite

For decades, plant biotechnologists were using just one type of transformation vector: a linear DNA encoding full transcription unit of a gene of interest. ICON GENETICS' nuclear transformation systems are based on translational (promoter-less), translation-fusion, polycistronic vectors or vectors that utilize vector assembly in planta or gene fragment trans-splicing. We developed non-leaky gene switches based on proteins. The result: biosafety, speed, precision, expression control, freedom-to-operate. We provide necessary training, technology transfer and contract research services.
